Abstract
A new technique that involves the use of two-layer sliding mucoperiosteal flap is described for the treatment of localized buccal gingival recession. The main advantage of this procedure is the use of the vascularized pedicled periosteum as the inner layer that covers the defect. This method can be used when periapical surgery of adjacent teeth is indicated. .
